Is the cost of basic food items, household supplies and toiletries getting beyond you? The South Burnett Pantry can help.

How it works:
The Pantry is open daily from 8.30am to 12.00pm. First time customers need to complete a simple registration form at the check-in desk, and pay a $40 handling fee for per hamper. The value of the hamper is much more than the handling fee. The hamper includes your choice of fresh fruit and vegetables, milk, bread, fresh or frozen meat/chicken/fish (what is available on the day), frozen dairy products, a selection of tinned and packaged foods as well as toiletries, household cleaners and baby items. You choose the items you want.
You may also pay for a smaller hamper for $25.00 which includes fruit and vegetables, dairy, meats and bread.
CO-VID19 RESTRICTIONS HAVE MEANT WE CANNOT PROVIDE REFRESHMENTS AND MUST REDUCE THE NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS IN THE BUILDING AT A TIME.The Thrift shop is now OPEN
Under usual operations on Fridays when The Pantry is open we have tea/coffee available and a bite to eat.
A low cost thrift shop is open weekly to offer a selection of clothing, blankets, manchester, gifts, books and other useful items.
EMERGENCY hampers are available on referral from a welfare agency, (such as Centacare, Salvation Army, CTC, Vincent de Paul Society, Centrelink) which has issued a Pantry voucher.
The Pantry now has EFTPOS, which includes a surcharge to cover the cost of the facility.
